How do I remove the Google Meet icon from Gmail? | Google Meet

Google Meet is a video conferencing app by Google. Google has also come into the video chatting/conferencing space during the coronavirus pandemic, now google providing its premium video conferencing service Google Meet free for consumers. Actually, it's called Google Hangout Meeting but it's kinda cool saying Google Meet.

Since the launch google has automatically added it with or Gmail. Some people like it and some don't. If you like it you can have it and if you don't you can remove it.

Follow the easy steps to remove Google Meet from Gmail.

  • Go to Mail.google.com  and go to settings.
  • Click on Show all settings
  • and go to Chat and meet.

  • Here just Hide it and it will be gone.
