There might be a chance when you install the Biostar 2, and when trying to log in, it seems it’s Opened but you don’t see the option to put the Login name and Password. This type of issue we usually see at the time of installation and once it's resolved then never, in my experience I've never seen that again. This means there definitely is something very small .
Usually, we think this is the issue with the installation, but it's not the issue with the Installation. There are several points you need to check if this issue happens but there is a most important point that you need to check which most of us ignore.
- Very first check if Server IP or Port is not changed.
- Open Notepad as Administrator, go to file > Open, and here select the setting.conf file by going to the Installation folder of Biostar2 and open it. e.g C:\Program Files\BioStar 2(x64).
- Check if IP and Port are correct there, If it's correct then now proceed to the next step.
- Now Clear the chrome Browser Cache.
- Right-click anywhere on chrome and click on Inspect.
- Go to Application and Local Storage.
- Below you will see the tabs, right-click on that and clear it.
- You can also do this by clearing the Advance History of google.
- Once Cache and history are cleared restart the biostar2 and now it should open properly.
Note:- Do remember to untick the
password section when doing Advance Clear browser History.
Once all above is checked now the Most Important point we need to check, which we all never think can happen to.
Check Google Chrome Version and Update it.
Now relaunch the Biostar2 directly or try after Restarting the services.
