What's G,NA and X shift in Realtime Attendance Management Software?

In Realtime Attendance Management Software either it's Realsoft 10.6, Realsoft 10.7, or Realsoft 10.8 there are 3 shifts by default created in the software. There is the different-different purpose for those shifts.
Shift-G
You can consider the G-Shift as a General shift means whatever changes you want you can do by editing in G shift.
 Shift-NA
Basically, you can say to NA shift as Non Assigned shift. This shift is used when there is no fix In-Out time and working hours can be more than 24 hours. This shift can hold the employee to 36 hours of working.

And the main thing is that there is fix report format for getting reports if you are using the NA shift, you will need to go to Weekly report and select None(NA) Shift Working. This is the Only report that is going to give you the Appropriate report when you are using the NA shift for your employee.
Note 
  • When using the NA shift you can't see Overtime.
  • When using NA shift you can't get salary report from any software either it's Realsoft 10.6 or Realsoft 10.7 or Realsoft 10.8 

Shift-X
Basically, the X shift is not for use, means you should not use this shift, This shift is used by the software automatically when employee doesn't have any shift or there is an error while generating or assigning the shift to the employee.
Means.................
If your joining date is from 7 of October and if you go and get the report from 1st to 31 of the January then the from 1st to 6th January software will automatically give him the X shift.

    If yes then remove weekly off from shift master or employee master wherever you have given.

    In Biometrics or Software???
    In software you can chnage the Employee code from database directly.
    But from biometrics the only way is to delete and re-add.

      Make sure Over Time Hours Allowed in Shift Master is not 00:00.

    we are using RS850 Biometric machine. and im unable to get attendance of night shift employees. the night shift timing is 12.00pm to next day 8.00pm. The machine is considering as night shift out time as in time for next day. please help us.

    In our system some employees got G shift and some X shift automatically but we want G shift for all cz in X shift employees are shown absent despite being punched on time.. Iam not able to resolve the issue kindly help

How to change default login name & password in Realsoft 10.7?

In Realsoft desktop software the default login credentials are are rss so for the security purpose you can change the credentials. Follow the steps below to do the same. Login in software with default credentials. Now go to Administrator then Change Passwor d to change User Name and Password. Put the C urrent Login Credentials then put New Details then click on  Change. And here you are done changing the login credentials. Now what next to do??? After changing the password you won't be able to see your added Employee details, for that you will need to enable the credentials for that newly created user. So how to Enable credentials for Newly Added user? Follow us on. Youtube LinkedIn Facebook Instagram Twitter Just got to File then go to Setup . Put the default password as rss110092 . How to Reset / Delete all data from Realtime Devices Using Software ?

Sometime when your Realtime face device's memory is full and it starts showing Transaction Full and you want to clear the logs or If you want to refresh the device and delete any or all enrollments, All these can be done using software or from the device directly. Note:- Before deleting anything from the device, make sure you have already taken backup because once you deleted the data it will delete whole data till the current time and will not be able to recover. How to Take Realtime Device Data Backup? Delete Punch logs from any Realtime Devices using Realtime Attendance Software. Login with any Realtime  Attendance Software and C onnect Device using LAN or USB . Note:- None of the face devices will get connected using the USB cable. Go to data Transfer and Click on Delete Data From Machine , and it will delete all the Punching Logs in the device.
